Lead Implementation Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Tax Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle EBTax/Fusion Tax, and Thomson Reuters OneSource Indirect Tax Determination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering tax automation and integration solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and global clients.
In this role, you will lead requirements workshops, design and configure tax solutions, support complex integrations, and ensure seamless transaction tax compliance across enterprise financial applications. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while providing functional and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gather and analyze business, process, functional, integration, and tax requirements between OneSource Indirect Tax Determination and Oracle EBS/Fusion Applications.
- Lead client discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement analysis meetings to define business processes and tax determination requirements.
- Configure and maintain Oracle EBTax/Fusion Tax modules to support indirect tax determination requirements.
- Configure OneSource Indirect Tax Determination and establish integration with Oracle applications.
- Design and document end-to-end tax determination processes and integration solutions.
- Create data mappings, technical specifications, and technical design documents prior to development activities.
- Develop and maintain Oracle BI Publisher reports for troubleshooting, data validation, audit support, and custom business requirements.
- Develop and support PL/SQL packages, procedures, and custom tax-related extensions.
- Work with FBDI, ADFDI, and OCI components to support data migration, integrations, and cloud-based implementations.
- Prepare, execute, and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to Oracle Tax and third-party tax engine integrations.
About you,
You’re a fit for the role of Lead Implementation Consultant if you have the following required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Extensive experience configuring and supporting Oracle EBTax and/or Oracle Fusion Tax.
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues.
- Experience creating, executing, and managing test scripts, test cases, and validation processes.
- Hands-on experience developing reports using Oracle BI Publisher.
- Strong PL/SQL development experience, including packages, procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with FBDI, ADFDI, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies.
- Ability to produce high-quality functional and technical design documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting global clients through remote collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
