Working Student - ULI PLAB/security engineer
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic working students to join the MI OPS COSI ULI organization in Budapest, Hungary location. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in laboratory support and cloud infrastructure management while contributing to Nokia’s mission of driving innovation and delivering value to communication service providers and enterprise customers.
As a working student, you will be part of the ULI (Universal Lab Infrastructure) team, which ensures the readiness, maintenance, and compliance of laboratory equipment for delivery teams. Additionally, you will work closely with the ULI organization, responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving physical and cloud-based common infrastructure required for strategic products delivered on a common software platform.
Qualifications
- Active student status (for at least one year).
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Technical Knowledge:- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and their configuration.
- Understanding of security principles for operating systems (OSes).
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and Kubernetes (k8s).
Responsibilities
Laboratory Support:
- Configure, maintain, and ensure the upkeep of laboratory equipment for delivery teams.
- Integrate new products and solutions into the services laboratory.
- Ensure the availability of laboratory equipment and compliance with physical and environmental standards.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance of ULI plab equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to prepare and manage cloud environments.
- Support the growth of security controls for lab infrastructures within the ULI organization.
- Verify and provide solutions for issues in physical, cloud and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters.
