Job Description

Every day at FIS, innovators, problem solvers and changemakers work together to create technology that advances the world of finance. We embrace new ideas, challenge what's possible and empower our teams to make a lasting impact. If you're ready to help shape the future of fintech, unlock your next chapter with FIS.

About the role

As a Workforce Architect Analyst Lead, you will build the evidence that connects changes in work to workforce decisions. Working alongside senior Workforce Architects and functional teams, you will establish how work and the workforce operate today, analyze how work is changing, and quantify the impact on roles, skills, capabilities, capacity and workforce shape. You will build clear baselines, analysis and scenarios that make workforce decisions credible, traceable and measurable, while helping teams imagine how work should be done when AI is embedded into workflows.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support discovery of current work at task and subtask level, including handoffs, systems, data, controls, workarounds and where human judgment is applied.
  • Establish work and workforce baselines, and gather and analyze workflow, role, skill, capacity and workforce data.
  • Document the differences between current and future work, including what is eliminated, simplified, automated, AI-augmented, agent-enabled or retained for human expertise.
  • Analyze the implications of those changes for roles, skills, capabilities, capacity and workforce shape.
  • Build workforce-impact analyses and scenario models; test assumptions and quantify potential consequences.
  • Maintain traceability between changes in work, the underlying evidence and workforce recommendations.
  • Support development of future-state role and capability requirements, including the human-in-the-loop responsibilities and decision points they carry.
  • Use AI to organize discovery evidence, compare sources, identify themes and draft analysis. Validate findings against source material, distinguish evidence from inference, check calculations and preserve traceability.
  • Prepare clear analysis and decision materials for senior Workforce Architects and functional leaders.
  • Track whether expected work and workforce outcomes materialize after implementation.
  • Connect analysis into job architecture, learning, talent and workforce planning where required, and provide workforce and human-in-the-loop input to Product and Technology requirements when needed.

What you bring

Required qualifications

  • Experience in workforce or people analytics, business or product analysis, process and workflow analysis, or operations analysis in a transformation setting.
  • Experience working with product-development and technology teams on technology-enabled change.
  • Strong discovery-facilitation, process-mapping, data-analysis and modeling skills, with the ability to build clear baselines and scenarios.
  • Ability to link evidence about tasks and workflows to role, skill and capacity implications, with explicit assumptions.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI efficiently to produce high-quality, audience-appropriate analysis and deliverables through effective prompting, iterative refinement, critical evaluation and accountable human review. Able to explain and defend the reasoning and evidence behind the final deliverable, with a design-thinking orientation and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Creative curiosity and comfort challenging established processes and assumptions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Process-mining, workflow-analytics, automation or AI-enabled product experience.
  • Product management, agile delivery, service design or user-research experience; experience writing requirements or user stories is useful.
  • Skills analysis, job architecture, workforce modeling or operating-model experience.

The impact you’ll make

As a Workforce Architect Analyst Lead, you will help ensure workforce decisions are grounded in clear, traceable evidence about how work is changing. Your analysis will give Workforce Architects and functional leaders credible baselines and scenarios for evaluating changes to roles, skills, capabilities and capacity. You will also help establish measurable outcomes so teams can assess whether expected work and workforce changes materialize after implementation.
