The part-time White House stringer position involves helping cover President Donald Trump and his administration during occasional nights and weekends, sending quick clear and accurate notes from his events and press availabilities and occasionally serving in the protective pool of journalists traveling with the president to local events. We're seeking a diligent and reliable DC-area resident with journalism experience who has availability in off-hours to work from the White House. We're looking for someone who could be available for between one and two weekends a month plus occasional nights when Trump returns, which ends up being approx. 15 hours a month.

Qualifications:

Ability to participate in a pool rotation that can include early mornings, late nights, and weekend coverage

Strong writing skills and ability to produce quality analysis

Salary Range = 45 - 50 USD Hourly

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
