📋 Overall Description: The Sr. Manager, Web Content Operations shapes how Lenovo brings compelling, high-quality digital experiences to life at global scale. This leader sets the vision for a modern web content operation while ensuring that the daily work of production, QA, localization, translation, publishing readiness, lifecycle governance, and performance management runs with precision across Lenovo.com. Leading global authoring, QA, and globalization teams, this role turns strategy into consistent execution by establishing clear priorities, standards, controls, permissions, and performance measures that enable teams to deliver every day. At the same time, the Sr. Manager champions the evolution toward a scalable federated model, accelerating adoption, automation, and the responsible use of AI to improve speed, quality, reuse, and measurable business impact.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global web content operations spanning production, QA, localization, translation, publishing readiness, and delivery performance.
- Own production intake, including routing, production-team capacity, execution sequencing, approvals, service levels, and content lifecycle.
- Establish production ownership, plans, review cadences, and quality controls that keep web content accurate, reusable, relevant, and ready to publish.
- Own production governance for federated authoring and publishing, including qualification, certification, training, readiness, and access based on capability, risk, performance, and compliance.
- Own production requirements for AEM roles, permissions, workflows, publishing controls, lifecycle rules, and routing; partner with technical teams on implementation.
- Define operational requirements for reusable content, templates, metadata, authoritative source content, and localized variants in partnership with experience, taxonomy, data, and platform owners.
- Set global authoring, QA, and globalization standards aligned with brand, UX, accessibility, SEO, legal, and market requirements.
- Define production KPIs for quality, cycle time, reuse, localization, cost, team capacity, publish readiness, and operational health; use insights to improve execution.
- Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for production, workflow, publishing, and quality failures.
- Lead change management for new production models and capabilities, including stakeholder alignment, communications, readiness, training, adoption, and reinforcement.
- Provide thought leadership on automation and AI-enabled content production by identifying use cases, defining guardrails and success measures, piloting solutions, and scaling proven capabilities.
- Build a high-performing global team and lead production governance through clear decision rights, coaching, and execution accountability.
✅ Position Requirements:
Experience:
- 8+ years in web production, digital content operations, QA, or enterprise content platforms.
- Experience leading global, high-volume authoring, QA, localization, translation, and publishing operations.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams with clear accountability in a matrixed enterprise.
- Demonstrated success designing, piloting, and scaling federated content production models, execution paths, production governance, team capacity, and lifecycle controls.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of enterprise content management, including AEM authoring, workflows, publishing, access governance, and lifecycle controls.
- Working knowledge of reusable content, templates, metadata, taxonomy, source content, and localized variants.
- Experience overseeing localization and translation workflows, language quality, terminology, suppliers, and performance.
- Experience defining QA strategy, testing standards, defect management, and release-readiness controls.
- Ability to define KPIs, analyze trends, resolve incidents, and drive root cause and corrective action.
Leadership and Business Skills:
- Proven people leadership with a record of building and developing high-performing global teams.
- Ability to set direction, clarify ownership, and balance strategy with operational execution.
- Strong influence across Marketing, product, IT, digital, and governance forums in a matrixed organization.
- Experience establishing scalable operating models and accountability that improve quality, speed, and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within Lenovo’s digital ecosystem or a similar global enterprise environment.
- Understanding of Lenovo IT solutions, architecture, governance models, or platform operating processes.
- Familiarity with AI enabled content creation, automation, or workflow optimization in digital publishing.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Workfront, or similar platforms.
📍 This position is based at Av. del Libertador 7208, Núñez. Candidates must be available to work from the office 3 days per week, as this hybrid work arrangement is a mandatory requirement for the role.
