VP, Enterprise Data Governance & Business ValueAbout your role:
As a VP, Enterprise Data Governance & Business Value, you will lead enterprise data governance and business value realization across Fiserv, establishing trusted, governed and business-ready data for customer, business, regulatory, operational and AI outcomes. You will partner with clients, business leaders, operations, risk, compliance, product and technology teams to improve data trust, resolve high-impact data issues and connect data investments to measurable enterprise value.
What you'll do:
- Define and execute the enterprise data governance strategy, operating model, standards and decision rights across data ownership, stewardship, business definitions, metadata, lineage and critical data elements.
- Lead enterprise programs for data quality, metadata management, lineage, cataloging and data transparency to improve trust, discoverability and reuse of enterprise data.
- Establish data quality frameworks, key performance indicators and executive scorecards that measure data health, ownership, remediation effectiveness, adoption and business value.
- Oversee significant customer-impacting data issues by leading root-cause governance, remediation oversight, escalation, closure validation and recurrence prevention.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Audit and Security teams to support auditability, privacy, regulatory reporting, operational resilience and responsible AI governance.
- Lead governance councils and executive forums that drive cross-functional alignment, accountability, prioritization and issue resolution across business and technology stakeholders.
- Manage, develop and mentor globally distributed data governance teams while building accountable operating models, succession plans and inclusive team practices.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, metadata management, regulatory reporting, data risk, analytics governance or enterprise data strategy in a large enterprise environment.
- 12+ years of experience managing and developing teams responsible for enterprise-scale programs, globally distributed delivery and cross-functional transformation.
- 12+ years of experience establishing or modernizing data governance and data management capabilities in a complex, regulated enterprise.
- 12+ years of experience leading customer, operational, regulatory or business data issue resolution across multiple organizational and technology stakeholders.
- 12+ years of experience using governance practices for data ownership, stewardship, issue management, remediation, data quality controls, metadata, lineage and executive reporting.
- 12+ years of experience partnering with executive leaders across business, product, operations, risk, compliance, legal, audit and technology organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience in financial services, payments, banking, insurance or another regulated industry.
- Experience with data governance and metadata platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, BigID or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with modern cloud data environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with AI and machine-learning data governance, including data provenance, grounding, lineage, access controls, evaluation, explainability and human oversight.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
Travel:
- This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).

Salary Range
$272,000.00 - $408,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
