Vehicle Attributes Program Manager, Santa Oliva, Spain
Description
Join the Vehicle Engineering team as a key enabler of engineering validation and test execution. As the central coordination point for fleet, parts, logistics, and test planning, you will ensure seamless execution across complex development programmes in the Vehicle Attributes department.
With the growing scale of the vehicle fleet, increasing variant diversity, and expanded testing footprint (including proving grounds and offsite locations), your role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency, data integrity, and cross-functional alignment.
You will act as the single point of contact for the programme team, driving test readiness, managing parts and vehicle logistics, and ensuring timely execution of validation activities. You will also serve as a strategic deputy to Attribute leads, ensuring continuity and visibility during high-intensity development phases.
Responsibilities
Fleet & Asset Management:- Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering vehicles - from allocation and maintenance to pedigree tracking and integration.
- Manage fleet availability, scheduling, and readiness for test events across multiple sites and programs.
- Lead procurement and tracking of engineering parts, consumables, and tools - acting as the primary point of contact when the Facility Coordinator is unavailable.
- Collaborate with technicians to assess and forecast testing needs, ensuring parts are available on time.
- Organize and manage offsite testing activities (e.g., proving grounds, real-world environments), including travel, equipment, and site coordination.
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive checklists and test procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Maintain and update the Design Verification Plan tracking, ensuring alignment with test progress and program milestones.
- Support the integration of test data and vehicle pedigree into central systems for traceability and reporting.
- Serve as the bridge between engineering functions (Powertrain, Battery, Chassis, Software) and attribute teams (NVH, Drivability, Dynamics, etc.).
- Facilitate alignment on test priorities, resource allocation, and information cascading - especially during high-pressure development phases.
- Act as the deputy for Attribute leads during peak development cycles, ensuring continuity in information flow and decision-making.
- Provide timely updates to the programme team, stakeholders, and leadership on test status, risks, and dependencies.
