Description

We are seeking a Utility Service Coordinator to join our team at Tesla. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple Megapack utility locations managing parts operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of parts to support Tesla's service operations for commercial teams. This is a salaried position that will require travel across an assigned region and potentially working late nights and weekends to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Oversee service parts flow and storage containment at Megapack Utility sites, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counting, site audits, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize shortages
  • Material & Parts Distribution: Manage and strategize the distribution of required material stock at Megapack Sites, optimizing inventory levels and logistics schedules to meet service demands
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline parts operations processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs, implementing best practices and standard operating procedures as needed 
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Megapack operations, such as Parts Availability, Aged Returns, Cycle Count Accuracy, and Van Stock Consumption Compliance; implementing strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including service, logistics, procurement, EHS and finance, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and service delivery goals
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to warehousing & parts operations, including safety, quality, and environmental standards 
  • Partner with your local Regional Service Coordinators to ensure all materials needed for Megapacks are available within local OC network

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (preferred but not required) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in warehousing operations, inventory management, or supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, WMS software, and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Flexibility to travel and work on weekends

Expected Compensation

  • Associate Logistics Analyst - $66,000 - $99,000/annual salary
  • Logistics Analyst - $83,600 - $125,400/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
