The U.S. Pricing Manager role is ideally based in Buffalo Grove, IL; however, remote applicants will be considered based on experience: It’s reporting to the Smart Infrastructure (SI B) Head of Sales and the SI B Finance Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain local pricing policies aligned with global pricing guidelines and commercial objectives.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and market competitiveness.
- Lead deployment of strategic pricing initiatives, methodologies, quotation tools, and pricing systems.
- Establish and manage pricing governance, approval processes, escalation paths, and compliance controls.
- Serve as the quality gatekeeper for pricing execution, discount approvals, promotions, and exception management.
- Analyze customer, product, market, and price performance to identify margin improvement opportunities.
- Monitor pricing KPIs such as Product Price Realization, Customer Price Development, pricing leakage, and profitability impact.
- Provide pricing expertise for strategic deals, quotes, customer negotiations, promotions, bundling, and repositioning actions.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Management, Operations, Product Technical Unit, and Global Pricing teams to drive pricing discipline and execution.
- Act as the local pricing subject matter expert, providing insights, market feedback, best practices, and support for advanced pricing capabilities.
- Responsible for annual and mid-year price adjustments for Products

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Excellence, Product Sales Operations, Product Management, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience translating data into actionable business insights.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, discount management, commercial policies, and profitability analysis.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Business Leadership teams.
- Advanced capabilities in Excel, analytics tools, and pricing management systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor pricing strategies, and industry best practices.

The pay range for this position is $109,670 - $188,006 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
