Overview:

The Travel Expense and Supplier Onboarding Manager is responsible for leading Accounts Payable operations supporting Travel Expense and Supplier Onboarding processes. This role leads teams in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality operational results while ensuring service level expectations, process compliance, and performance targets are consistently met. The role drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and standardize processes, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and innovation.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development of employees
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and individual performance goals
  • Manage operational escalations, conduct root cause analysis, and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Monitor team performance, quality, productivity, and key performance indicators
  • Ensure team service level agreements, processes, and corrective actions are consistently achieved
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, standardize, and improve existing processes
  • Challenge the status quo by developing thoughtful, data-driven recommendations for process improvement
  • Take ownership of assigned processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall experience
  • Proactively identify root causes of recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements across systems, regions, and teams
  • Maintain strong standards for data integrity, process consistency, quality, and operational excellence
  • Provide responsive, professional, and solution-oriented support to stakeholders
  • Take ownership of operational issues through resolution and ensure effective follow-through
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, functions, cultures, and geographic regions
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to contribute to team success
  • Adapt to changing business needs, priorities, technologies, and organizational initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to expand team knowledge, improve processes, and contribute beyond core responsibilities
  • Drive results through proactive problem-solving and effective decision-making

What You Need to Succeed:

  • College degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of Accounts Payable Operations Manager experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured and deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer applications
  • Experience with Accounts Payable processes or systems such as SAP, Oracle, E-Automate, or Concur is an advantage but not required
  • Strong analytical skills are preferred for advanced-level responsibilities
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting established service level expectations
  • Strong customer service mindset with effective communication, collaboration, and follow-through
  • Willingness to learn and expand expertise across systems, processes, and business functions
  • English proficiency is required; additional language skills are an advantage
