Transform the everyday with us

The candidate will design and develop training materials, including classroom presentations, instructor guides, and reference resources for training department personnel. Additionally, they will conduct on-site training at the Siemens facility.

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Trainer (Hours 3:00pm-11:30pm). This position will be based at Southaven, MS (Memphis Distribution Warehouse).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a training needs assessment schedule, collaborating with trainers, managers, and leadership.
  • Design, create, and maintain training materials, including course curricula, lesson plans, exams, and reference resources.
  • Conduct employee training and onboarding, covering topics such as EHS, SAP, Safety, MHE Certification, and HR-related subjects.
  • Track and evaluate employee performance, identifying skill gaps and providing feedback for improvement.
  • Lead small class sessions (10-12 students), using theory, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including course evaluations, instructor feedback, and documentation.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • MHE certified to include Stock picker, Man Mower, Stand-up counterbalance lift, and Tugs.
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm).
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a non-climatized warehouse environment.
  • A minimum 2 years of SAP usage and knowledge.
  • Highly proficient in written and verbal communications.
  • Must be able to use PowerPoint and Excel programs and be able to develop presentations using Power Point.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • 3-4 years working in a distribution environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years training experience
  • 2 years degree from an accreditation collage, or equivalent experience

The pay for this position is 19.25 per hour, plus an additional .75 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
