Description

Apple’s Global Trade Compliance team is looking for a highly motivated Trade Compliance Analyst to actively support Apple’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and vendor management programs. Your integrity, high degree of ownership, can-do thinking, focused partnership, and dedication to excellence will bring value to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits of FTZ estimates admissions and weekly customs entries
  • Manage and monitor external partners including weekly meetings, compliance requests, shipment validations etc
  • Monitor, measure and develop reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs.)
  • Evaluate new government requirements and partner with regional teams to ensure import compliance
  • Ensure legal regulatory compliance with all aspects of FTZ operations
  • Manage system related issues and root cause analysis
  • Lead classification specific projects as assigned
  • Manage and present metrics to management team
  • Conduct desk verifications and on-site audits with external partners
  • Create and maintain process and procedures
  • Craft effective and clear communication with stakeholders (emails, Presentations, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in import customs compliance roles at a professional services or Fortune 500 company
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of US Customs programs including Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Orders, and PGAs (e.g. FDA, EPA.)
  • Licensed Customs Broker
  • FTZ Audit program management
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SAP-GTS
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Data management, KPIs, metrics development and management
  • Advanced FTZ experience and managing external partners
  • Masters and/or JD degree is a plus
