TIQ Program Manager - US Expansions

As a US Expansion TIQ Program Manager, you will own key projects within the US Expansion Tool Install and Qual (TIQ) Program for our new US based High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) sites.

Your areas of ownership will include multiple of the following:

• Fab Support (FS) and Main Tool Auxiliary (MTA) enablement.
• Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Actions, and Schedule execution; enable systems and processes to drive delays to zero (D2Z).
• Resource Leveling, Modeling, and Validation.
• Support TIQ Change Control Board (CCB): Management of a high-volume of change requests, mitigate cost and schedule impacts.
• Risk-Build and Disruptive change avoidance and management.
• Process Qualification for Tool Releases to enable capacity scale and speed.
• Construction, Facilities, and Layout engagement.
• Tool Install SPMO champion support for multiple Fab Process Areas.

The ideal candidate must be willing to work as a TIQ Program Manager on site in Boise, Idaho to initially support the ID1/ID2 Fab Startup for approximately 18 months before permanently transitioning to the New York SPMO organization at the Clay, New York US Expansion HVM Site.

Responsibilities:

• Own assigned projects and programs, drive execution to plan, and enable successful outcomes.

• TIQ business process execution, project tracking that includes driving Performance-to-Plan (P2P), and reporting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and gaps to partners and leaders.

• TIQ Change Management business process owner: System management, Change Control Board (CCB) Meetings to approve changes that have cost and/or schedule impact.

• Collaborate with sister HVM sites and central teams for benchmarking, leverage existing best-known methods (BKMs), generate and document new BKMs as part of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), and train stakeholders on best practices.

• Ability to build and maintain global relationships, excellent communication and presentation skills, and use data analysis skills to support decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Applied Science or related technical field.

• 1-2+ years of Engineering work experience.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical thinking, and project/program management skills. 
• Ability Influence partners and customers to enable the success of your programs to deliver the desired results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in project efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes through Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of Program Management methods and related experience (PMP certification is a plus but not required).
• Direct experience in Semiconductor Frontend Fabrication Process or Equipment role
• Experience in Semiconductor Front End Fabrication Tool Installation
• Strong PC Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365 Application suite, Tableau, Power Automate, AI applications (e.g., Co-Pilot, Claude, etc.), and SharePoint
• Flexibility to take on new challenges and learn new skills.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$68,000.00 - $203,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
