Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities | 主要職責

1. Lead and manage the thermal engineering team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and talent development to ensure successful execution of thermal design projects.
   • 領導並管理散熱工程團隊，提供技術指導、團隊培育與人才發展，確保散熱設計專案順利執行。
2. Define and drive the thermal technology and solution roadmap, aligning with business strategy, product requirements, and emerging industry trends, particularly in AI and high-performance computing platforms.
   • 制定並推動散熱技術與解決方案發展藍圖，結合業務策略、產品需求及產業趨勢，特別聚焦於 AI 與高效能運算（HPC）領域。
3. Own the end-to-end design and development of advanced cooling solutions for AI products, including air cooling, liquid cooling, and next-generation thermal management technologies.
   • 負責 AI 產品先進散熱解決方案的端到端設計與開發，包括風冷、液冷及新世代熱管理技術。
4. Partner closely with system architecture, mechanical, electrical, product engineering, and ODM/JDM teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective thermal solutions.
   • 與系統架構、機構、電子、產品工程及 ODM/JDM 團隊密切合作，提供創新且具成本效益的散熱方案。
5. Drive thermal simulation, validation, optimization, and qualification activities to ensure product reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance.

6. Evaluate and introduce new thermal technologies, materials, and cooling architectures to support future AI infrastructure and server platforms.

7. Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving efforts related to thermal performance and system-level cooling challenges.

8. Manage project priorities, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely product delivery.
   • 負責專案優先順序管理、資源規劃及跨部門協作，確保產品如期上市與交付。

Preferred Qualifications | 任職資格

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
   • 機械工程、熱流工程或相關科系學士以上學歷。
2. Extensive experience in thermal design and cooling solutions for servers, AI systems, data center infrastructure, or high-performance computing platforms.
   • 具備伺服器、AI 系統、資料中心基礎架構或高效能運算平台之散熱設計與冷卻解決方案經驗。
3. Proven leadership experience managing thermal engineering teams and complex product development projects.
   • 具備帶領散熱工程團隊及管理複雜產品開發專案的成功經驗。
4. Strong knowledge of thermal simulation tools, airflow management, liquid cooling technologies, heat transfer, and thermal optimization methodologies.
   • 熟悉熱模擬工具、氣流管理、液冷技術、熱傳原理及散熱優化方法。
5. Demonstrated experience defining technology roadmaps and driving innovation in thermal architectures.
   • 具備制定技術發展藍圖及推動散熱架構創新的相關經驗。
6. Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills in a global engineering environment.
   • 具備優秀的利害關係人管理能力，並能於全球化工程團隊中展現卓越的跨部門領導能力。

Preferred Candidate Profile | 理想候選人背景

• 10+ years of experience in thermal engineering, with recent exposure to AI servers, GPU systems, liquid cooling, or data center technologies.
  • 具 10 年以上散熱工程相關經驗，近年曾參與 AI 伺服器、GPU 系統、液冷或資料中心技術開發。
• Experience leading and developing high-performing thermal engineering teams.
  • 具備帶領高績效散熱工程團隊的管理經驗。
• Strong expertise in AI product cooling solutions and thermal technology strategy.
  • 熟悉 AI 產品散熱解決方案及散熱技術策略規劃。
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic technical decisions.
  • 能夠影響高階主管決策並推動關鍵技術策略落地。
