Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Test & Commissioning Engineer in Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
The Test & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting testing and commissioning activities to ensure that systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operating in accordance with design intent, specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability, safety, and performance prior to handover.
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Develop and execute testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules, ensuring all prerequisites are completed and systems are ready for testing.
- Review design documents, specifications, drawings, and vendor manuals, and ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Perform and supervise functional, performance, and integrated system testing, including witnessing tests conducted by subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Safety, Operations, clients, and consultants to manage interfaces, resolve issues, and support troubleshooting activities.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, test records, reports, punch lists, and handover dossiers while ensuring adherence to HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline, with proficiency in both English and Thai.
- 3-5 years of testing and commissioning experience, preferably within metro, railway, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, integration testing, performance testing, trial runs, and system handover activities.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning methodologies, system interfaces, industry standards, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, troubleshooting, and technical reporting skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
