Be part of an exciting journey of portfolio expansion for TI’s new family of Programmable Logic devices (TPLD) which encompass varied IP’s like Precision Analog, Mixed Signal, Non-Volatile Memory & Digital Core in a single configurable silicon. Own & drive the Test Strategy and execution for Programmable Logic Cores as a Test Lead which will unlock opportunities for innovation in Test and also in creation of new Manufacturing & Production processes by collaborating with our Manufacturing & IT partners to cater to the production needs of this emerging & dynamic market.

Responsibilities include:

• Efficient test strategy definition for product families with heavy re-usability 
• Work closely with design and systems team to understand device specifications and product testability
• Early engagement with design to define the DFT strategy for best Test Cost
• Design ATE hardware boards for package and probe test solutions
• Generate test plans, execute them to create qual, char and production test programs on ATE platforms
• Correlate ATE test results with bench validation and design simulations
• Analyze silicon results, debug silicon and test issues
• Work with remote production teams to release Test solutions (Probe & FT)  to volume production
• Drive for robust and cost-effective test solutions while owning the product quality
• Timely communication of status and reporting of bugs identified during test
• Ability to perform well in a cross-functional, cross-cultural team environment

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as Test Engineer with ATE experience on J750HD, Teradyne Eagle or equivalent ATE.
• Prior board design experience, preferably for ATE boards.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits.
• Data analysis skills using Spotfire or equivalent tool.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in IGXL Test Platforms (J750HD, iFlex, UltraFlex)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting in C++, Python.
• Experience with NVM test & device trimming.
• Exposure to Test Development in a New Product Development Environment.
• Revision control tools experience: Subversion, Git.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and cycle time reduction.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
