Telephony Software Engineer, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems

Summary

We build the telephony technologies that keep millions of customers connected every day, including IMS calling, cellular data, network slicing, carrier voicemail, and multi-radio link selection across the iOS and watchOS platforms. These are critical technologies that continuously shape the user experience.

We are looking for a software engineer to help advance intelligence-based software development across both multi-radio and telephony technologies. In this role, you will design and build world-changing algorithms that elevate the experience for millions of customers while exploring the next frontier of AI/ML-driven algorithm design.

Description

You will be challenged with unique problems: building and developing algorithm and software solutions to enrich telephony and multi-radio link selection solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• Strong C++, C, or Objective-C software skills
• GenAI, Familiar with machine learning techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wireless communications systems
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an iOS / watchOS environment
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, communicating clearly while authoritatively driving projects across many teams
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, with a drive to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that matter most to our customers
• Proficiency with AI-based software development tools

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $194,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
