Technical Support Engineer provides post-sales technical support and helps develop support strategies for new and existing products.
Responsibilities- Provide post-sales technical support and develop support strategies for new products.
- Apply in-depth technical knowledge and product expertise to investigate and resolve escalated product issues.
- Engage directly with customers when required and provide advanced internal support to Field Service Engineers, Remote Support Engineers, and customer contact centre personnel.
- Develop and implement support plans, repair strategies, and production support plans for new product introductions.
- Provide technical product and measurement consultation for presales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams, as well as external customers, to ensure products meet feature, cost, supportability, reliability, and release-schedule requirements.
- Prepare product and process documentation, user guides, and application notes.
- Develop and deliver technical training to Keysight’s technical support teams, including Field Service Engineers and Application Engineers.
- Support technical marketing assignments with clearly defined objectives.
- Analyse and resolve a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience as a In-Circuit Test Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with in-circuit testing or boundary-scan testing systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing test processes and Boundary-Scan Description Language (BSDL).
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages is an added advantage.
