Technical Program Manager, Operations Infrastructure, Tesla AI
Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on and organized Technical Program Manager to join the Technical Operations Team supporting Tesla AI data collection for Full Self-Driving and Robotaxi. This team is responsible for standing up, supporting and scaling new markets, securing sites, parking, charging, network and related field infrastructure so we can collect high-quality data at scale. This role has a significant impact on Tesla AI progress by bringing new cities online and driving operational excellence across markets as Full Self-Driving and Robotaxi scale.The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and takes ownership of complex problems from identification through resolution. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, IT/Network, Security, Real Estate, Procurement and external vendors often in the field to remove blockers and ensure teams have the infrastructure they need.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end infrastructure bring-up for new and growing markets: drive prioritized cities from plan through go-live, coordinating site selection, requirements, dependencies, timelines and launch readiness
- Establish and stand up homebases, offsite lots, trailers and shared sites, including parking, charging, amenities, security, network connectivity and team access
- Align Facilities, IT/Network, Security, Real Estate, Procurement, Engineering, local Operations, vendors and landlords to clear blockers and keep market bring-ups on track
- Travel to new and existing markets to walk sites, bring-up infrastructure and lots, support operations and resolve issues that cannot be solved remotely
- Manage vendors, contractors and landlords, scope requirements, obtain quotes, coordinate work, track timelines and escalate delivery risks
- Own capacity planning across markets and prioritize concurrent launches by impact and urgency so parking, charging, network and workspace scale with fleet and headcount growth
- Drive operational excellence through metrics, status reporting and repeatable playbooks—closing gaps and improving reliability and launch execution
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical program management, site/infrastructure operations, field operations, or equivalent
- Strong technical background in site infrastructure, facilities and networking, with demonstrated hands-on depth beyond pure coordination
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to new and existing markets to push bring-ups forward and resolve field issues hands-on
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail, with clear communication and the ability to drive alignment and timelines without direct authority
- Strong bias for action and ownership: identify problems early and drive them to resolution.

Expected Compensation
$112,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
