Hello World, We are hiring!

We empower our people to stay resilient and relevant in a constantly changing world. We’re looking for people who are always searching for creative ways to grow and learn. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future.

Does that sound like you? Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant team.

Siemens Software, a business unit of the Siemens Digital Industries, is a leading global provider of software solutions to drive the digital transformation of industry, creating new opportunities for manufacturers to realize innovation.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead meshing workflows within Hypermesh, with responsibility for surface meshing, batch meshing, GUI context development, workflow development, and Midmesh.

This role will focus on defining and delivering best-in-class meshing capabilities for practical CAE model build workflows. A major area of responsibility will be Midmesh, Hypermesh’s tool for generating midsurface meshes from complex multi-thickness parts such as castings and plastic components. This is a technically demanding area that requires strong understanding of geometry, mesh quality, solver requirements, and real-world simulation model preparation.

The role will also require close collaboration with the model build and assembly teams, particularly where batch meshing is leveraged as part of automated meshing workflows driven from bill of materials structures. The successful candidate will help ensure meshing capabilities are integrated into scalable, part-based model build workflows that support representation management, assembly processes, solver-specific setup, and downstream simulation readiness.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on industry experience as a CAE, simulation, or model build engineer, with a strong appreciation for high-quality meshing workflows and the ability to translate real engineering use cases into clear product direction.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and own the product direction for Hypermesh meshing workflows, including surface meshing, batch meshing, GUI context development, workflow development, and Midmesh.
  • Lead the continued development of Midmesh for complex multi-thickness parts such as castings, plastic components, and variable-thickness geometry.
  • Drive improvements to batch meshing workflows, with a focus on automation, repeatability, scalability, and integration into model build and assembly processes.
  • Collaborate closely with model build and assembly teams to support automated meshing workflows driven from bill of materials structures, part representations, and downstream assembly requirements.
  • Work with customers, application engineers, software developers, UX teams, and product leaders to capture engineering use cases and translate them into product requirements.
  • Define specifications for new capabilities and manage product development from concept through release, including validation, documentation, and enablement.
  • Ensure meshing workflows support practical solver needs, including mesh quality, element criteria, connectivity, cleanup, and solver readiness.
  • Collaborate with adjacent product areas, including Simlab and Simcenter 3D, to support broader Siemens simulation workflows.

What you’ll bring:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong experience in CAE, finite element modeling, simulation model build, or technical product management for engineering software.
  • Hands-on understanding of surface meshing, geometry cleanup, mesh quality, and solver preparation workflows.
  • Experience with tools such as Hypermesh, Simlab, ANSA, Abaqus/CAE, Ansys, or comparable CAE pre-processors.
  • Ability to work with customers, engineers, UX teams, and software development teams to define and deliver complex technical capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate at both a detailed technical level and a broader workflow level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry experience as a CAE engineer, simulation engineer, or model build engineer.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Hypermesh meshing workflows.
  • Experience with batch meshing, automated meshing, or bill of materials driven model build processes.
  • Experience with Midmesh or similar midsurface meshing workflows.
  • Knowledge of Optistruct, LS-DYNA, Nastran, Abaqus, Radioss, or Ansys.
  • Familiarity with model build, assembly, representation management, topology, geometry, or morphing workflows.
