Technical Product Manager - HPCWorks Integrations

Siemens is seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to help customers, partners, and internal teams integrate HPCWorks products into real-world software environments, partner platforms, and advanced engineering workflows. This role sits at the intersection of product management, technical enablement, solution architecture, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert in HPCWorks APIs, workflow automation, containerized deployment models, and partner integrations, helping turn complex technical use cases into validated, repeatable solutions.

You will work closely with development, QA, partners, and selected customers to understand end-to-end use cases, validate workflows, document best practices, and create example implementations that accelerate adoption. This role is ideal for a technically fluent product manager who enjoys solving ambiguous integration problems, working directly with engineering teams, and helping customers deploy HPCWorks successfully in sophisticated on-premises, cloud, hybrid, Kubernetes, AI/ML, EDA, and HPC environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with strategic partners and selected customers to understand their software environments, operational workflows, deployment constraints, and integration goals, then translate those needs into validated HPCWorks-based workflows.
• Design, build, document, and maintain standardized example workflows that demonstrate how HPCWorks products can be used together or integrated with partner and customer software.
• Support customers, partners, development teams, and field teams as they build integrations using HPCWorks APIs, helping clarify behaviours, diagnose issues, and identify product gaps.
• Partner with Development and QA to define, test, and confirm complete use cases across HPCWorks products, including VOV/FlowTracer, workload managers, common services, and adjacent platform capabilities.
• Work with engineering to become a deep technical expert in the next-generation HPCWorks foundation, including containerized deployment, Kubernetes/K3s enablement, common services, installation models, operational diagnostics, and administration workflows.
• Produce practical documentation for operations, administration, troubleshooting, diagnostics, APIs, deployment patterns, and integration best practices.
• Help customers combine multiple HPCWorks components into complete solutions that address workload management, workflow orchestration, monitoring, cloud scaling, AI/ML, EDA, and engineering productivity needs.
• Create and curate a validated HPCWorks knowledgebase of VOV/FlowTracer workflows and other repeatable solution patterns that can be shared with customers, partners, consulting, support, and sales engineering teams.
• Research and validate the use of HPCWorks in local LLM training, continuous retraining, single- and multi-GPU inference, and near-frontier model execution on customer-managed infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical collaboration with strategic partners such as NVIDIA and other ecosystem participants to ensure Siemens HPCWorks remains aligned with emerging compute, GPU, AI, and infrastructure trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical product management, solution architecture, technical consulting, software engineering, customer engineering, or product-focused technical enablement.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software integration patterns, APIs, deployment environments, and customer workflow automation.
• Experience working with development and QA teams to validate end-to-end product behaviour, define technical requirements, and confirm release readiness.
• Ability to work directly with customers and partners in complex technical environments, translating ambiguous use cases into clear workflows, requirements, documentation, and product feedback.
• Familiarity with Linux-based enterprise infrastructure, scripting, REST APIs, containers, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear technical documentation, example workflows, enablement material, and internal guidance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose workflow issues, identify integration gaps, and drive practical resolution across teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Siemens HPCWorks products such as VOV/FlowTracer, PBS Professional, Accelerator, Grid Engine, Access, InsightPro, NavOps, LQS, or related HPC and workload management technologies.
• Hands-on experience with HPC, EDA, AI/ML, GPU computing, scientific computing, engineering simulation, or other compute-intensive customer environments.
• Experience designing or supporting workflow orchestration, job scheduling, dependency management, remote execution, cloud bursting, or hybrid on-premises/cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, K3s, OpenShift, Docker, Helm, containerized services, and operational models for deploying enterprise software in customer-controlled environments.
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure workflows, including local LLM training, inference serving, model retraining, GPU sharing, or orchestration of AI workloads on HPC clusters.
• Experience collaborating with ecosystem partners, hardware vendors, cloud providers, or enterprise software teams to define and validate joint technical solutions.

The pay range for this position is $129,600 - $233,300 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
