YOUR ROLE
The Technical Marketing Manager leads the Technical Marketing team and is responsible for the market positioning, value proposition, demand creation and go-to-market execution of STMicroelectronics’ GaN discrete power portfolio.
The role works closely with Product / Commercial Marketing, Application Engineering, Regional Sales & Marketing, and FAEs to transform technical capabilities into customer value and business growth.
Depending on portfolio priorities, the scope also includes RF and Rad Hard products and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical Marketing team, ensuring clear priorities, effective execution, and strong cross-functional alignment.
- Contribute to product positioning, value proposition, and NPI pricing strategy in collaboration with Product/Commercial Marketing, translating technical features into clear customer and business benefits while ensuring consistency with market expectations, competitive context, and business objectives.
- Contribute to demand creation and the BU business plan by working with regional organization in identifying market opportunities, key application drivers, and growth assumptions.
- Ensure the portfolio remains competitive by continuously monitoring market trends, customer needs, and alternative solutions.
- Perform competition analysis to support strategic decisions and identify differentiation factors.
- Support go-to-market activities through customer engagement, sales enablement, content preparation, events, and collection of market feedback.
- Work with internal teams and customers to gather insights, lead product definition, and promote GaN, RF, and Rad Hard solutions.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in power electronics, wide bandgap technologies, and ideally GaN.
- Good understanding of market dynamics, product positioning, and P&L.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Collaborative, proactive, and structured mindset.
- Exposure to RF or Rad Hard applications is considered a plus.
The expected salary range for this position is € 60.000 – € 75.000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role.
In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
