Technical Manager, Litho Process Development

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of over 17 million 12-inch equivalent wafers in 2025. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lithography process development for advanced nodes or specialty projects

2. Develop of Resolution Enhancement Techniques (RET) and materials for pattern fidelity improvement

3. Cooperate with OPC team and modules for pattern-to-AEI model development

4. Process transfer to volume manufacturing

5. Project management and team leadership

Job Qualifications

1. Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields

2. 3-5 years of experience in lithography technology development (Preferred)

3. Expertise in lithography processes and associated equipment, along with a deep understanding of Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET), is essential (Preferred)

4. Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills based on fundamental principles, rather than empirical models

5. Excellent project management, communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills

6. Proactive and positive attitude to handle workplace challenges

7. Fluent in Mandarin or English
