Your Impact
As Technical Consulting Engineer for Net Academy, you will own the strategic alignment between our global education initiatives and Cisco’s overarching business objectives. You will act as a key architect for curriculum evolution, using AI-enabled methodologies to ensure our learning assets remain at the forefront of international education standards. Your work will directly influence how we enable instructors, measure educational impact, and scale our footprint across diverse markets. You will serve as a strategic partner to team members, redefining complex market data and performance metrics into actionable roadmaps that drive workforce readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Drive global fiscal and planning cycles to ensure alignment with Cisco’s business goals.
- Curriculum Innovation: Develop and implement AI-enabled curriculum review projects to meet international standards and address emerging market needs.
- Instructor Enablement: Lead the delivery of high-engagement technical content and workshops for global events (e.g., IPD Week, regional Academy Days).
- Collaboration: Partner with collaborators across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America to cultivate cohesive knowledge sharing and strategy execution.
- Performance Analytics: Define and report on key performance indicators (important metrics) such as CSAT, attendance, and achievement completion to guide future innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or 8+ years shown experience).
- 5+ years of validated experience in education strategy, program management, or workforce development (or a Master's degree or equivalent experience).
- Current professional-level technical certification like (e.g., CCNA) or equivalent certification.
- 3+ years of proven ability analyzing workforce readiness landscapes and educational trends, specifically within the LATAM region.
- Shown experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with partners across at least three diverse geographical time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Gain insights into the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) ecosystem or related educational programs.
- Apply AI-driven tools to build personalized learning experiences and improve educational outcomes.
- Communicate complex concepts to leadership teams and government ministries to develop alignment and clear understanding.
- Use data visualization tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI, to translate educational trends into actionable insights.
- Facilitate technical professional development workshops for groups of 50 or more participants.
