Jack Henry Banking is seeking to hire a motivated individual to work within the Banking Product Management Team as a Technical Business Analyst for the Core Lending Team. This team is responsible for the scoping, development, and testing of enhancements added to SilverLake and CIF 20/20.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO, Louisville, KY; Birmingham, AL; or Charlotte, NC.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications. 
  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. 
  • May assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • May perform application, system and regression tests. 
  • Responsible for creating business requirements.
  • Reviews and provides feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.
  • Contributes to the creation of user stories, end-user documentation and other sprint related documentation.
  • May work with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.
  • Creates test plans/scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products.
  • Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

 What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, loan processing, lending product management, business analysis, or related banking functions.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer, commercial, mortgage, or agricultural lending processes, including loan origination, servicing, collateral management, payment processing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with banking software, product management activities, or business requirements within a loan-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for internal meetings, conferences, user groups, and customer engagements.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Silverlake knowledge. 
  • Experience or knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies. 
  • Experience with or knowledge of Core Business Services.
  • Experience with or knowledge of SOA architecture or similar tool.
  • Experience with or knowledge of XML.
  • Experience with business requirements documentation, technical/functional specifications, use cases, test cases. 
  • Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of the financial industry, specifically lending.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good grammar and writing skills.
  • Able to define system and functional requirements. 
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Able to interact with and communicate well with other technical associates.
