The Over-the-Top (OTT) mission is to deliver unique, delightful experiences for live TV and premium content on YouTube consistent across all surfaces and built on a shared platform. This mission includes building and innovating the YouTube TV end-t-end experience, Primetime Channels, and the YouTube Sports vertical in YouTube.com. YouTube TV is the fastest growing cable provider in the industry with a direct line of sight to being the nation's largest, most profitable and innovative linear TV provider.
As a Tech Lead (TL), you will lead the technical infrastructure and end-to-end solution to use personalization to drive incremental business and OI for OTT, in order to grow YouTube’s OTT services to become market-leading, healthily profitable and defensible.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on projects.
- Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in Applied Machine Learning.
- Experience as a Tech Lead (TL) for a consumer-facing product, driving business generation.
