The Team:

The Company Financials team provides clients with fast and accurate market-moving data covering broker estimates, financial filings, and other critical datasets that help them assess financial performance. We use financial modeling, industry expertise, data management, and technical skills to curate key metrics and extract insights from our data. Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class financial analysis and modeling product while continuously expanding and enhancing our offering.

Across Company Financials Data, we are focused on building scalable, observable, and AI-ready data operations. This includes redesigning workflows, improving process efficiency, embedding automation, and ensuring that financial data is delivered with the quality, consistency, and timeliness our clients expect.

The Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Process Automation Team Leader to drive operational excellence across Company Financials data production. You will lead process optimization, automation, and performance improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve quality, efficiency, and scalability. Partnering closely with Workflow, Product, Engineering, and vendor teams, you will translate improvement opportunities into practical solutions while overseeing operational performance across the data lifecycle.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of data professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational excellence by monitoring queue health, throughput, operational metrics, quality indicators, timeliness and exception trends using data-driven insights to optimize performance and ensure accurate, efficient and consistent delivery.
  • Establish operational governance through dashboards, quality controls, standard operating procedures, documentation, training and escalation processes that strengthen workflow visibility, issue detection, production oversight and consistent execution.
  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance scalable automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improves operational efficiency and enable AI-ready, governed workflows and structured data outputs.
  • Partner with Workflow, Product, Engineering, vendors, and other stakeholders to implement and scale workflow and automation enhancements.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Operations, Process Improvement, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field, with 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation workflows, and data visualization or workflow monitoring tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI), with knowledge of data observability, data quality monitoring, and production controls
  • Experience driving operational excellence by improving workflows, reducing manual effort, simplifying processes, and applying data management best practices, including data quality, process controls, operational metrics, issue management, and workflow documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging operational dashboards and metrics (e.g., throughput, SLA performance, defect rates, queue aging, rework, and productivity) to identify trends, root causes, bottlenecks, and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience leveraging automation and AI technologies, including GenAI-assisted development tools, AI coding assistants, or agentic AI workflows, to improve software development, operational processes, and scalable automation solutions
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, with experience partnering across Engineering, Product, Operations, vendors, and global stakeholders
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

We’d love to see:

  • Experience working with financial statements, company financials, broker estimates, fundamentals, or adjacent capital markets data
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, root cause analysis, or process mapping
