The Leadership & Career Development Lead will strengthen leadership effectiveness, support employee growth, and help build a sustainable internal talent pipeline for the Grand Prairie manufacturing site. This role focuses on developing leaders at multiple levels, including senior site leaders, frontline supervisors, emerging talent, and high-potential employees, through practical coaching, structured learning, and career development support.
Operating directly within the plant environment, this position provides hands-on support by observing leadership behaviors in day-to-day business settings, offering constructive feedback, and recommending targeted development resources. The role works closely with site leadership, salaried employees, Training, and P&O People Partners to align and improve organizational capability through people development and prepare employees for current and future opportunities.
You will make an impact by:
- Leadership Coaching & Development: Provide individualized coaching and development support for senior leaders, frontline supervisors and emerging talent. Observe leaders in operational reviews, strategy discussions, presentations and floor meetings. Provide clear feedback and practical recommendations to support continued growth.
- Career Pathway Design: Support clear employee progression frameworks that reflect the needs of a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support movement into critical roles across the site.
- Learning Resource Curation: Develop or identify relevant learning programs, tools, and resources, including professional literature, digital learning modules, training courses, mentoring options and self-paced development opportunities that support individual growth and broader organizational capability needs.
- Partnership & Alignment: Collaborate with site leadership, salaried personnel, Training and P&O People Partners to ensure development strategies are connected to business priorities, workforce needs and long-term capability building.
- Culture & Continuous Improvement: Reinforce behaviors and development practices that promote accountability, continuous improvement and a high-performance workplace culture.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, talent management or leadership coaching, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners (such as P&O People Partners) to execute talent strategies in a complex operational setting.
- Core Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership coaching, career counseling and training development.
- Observation & Constructive Feedback: Skilled in shadowing leaders in live operational contexts and delivering impactful, actionable feedback.
- Resource Curation: Deep familiarity with professional literature, operational training tools and learning platforms to recommend effective self-paced and structured learning paths.
- Manufacturing Acumen:
- Understanding of plant operations, leadership challenges in a production environment and process improvement methodologies to ensure development programs align with operational realities.
- Communication & Flexibility:
- Exceptional facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build trust and engage stakeholders ranging from salaried personnel to upper-level site leadership and P&O People Partners.
- Willingness and flexibility to occasionally engage with multi-shift operations to support and observe supervisors across non-standard working hours.

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
