TA Advisor & Community Lead - AMER
Hi, I’m Kat, :) I lead Partnerships at Ashby, which includes global community activation. We’re hiring an experienced TA Advisor & Community Lead in AMER to help expand one of our most successful GTM experiments: a high-touch, customer-led approach to growth. This role builds on the incredible work our EMEA team has piloted—combining thoughtfully curated events, product education, and early-stage community activation—to create meaningful impact across the funnel.
You’ll evolve and then optimize this model in target markets, taking ownership of AMER’s community-led growth efforts. This means everything from running customer breakfasts and curated experiences, to leading tactical enablement sessions and product demos. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of education, advocacy, and hospitality, and who’s excited to help Ashby scale sustainably through trust and excellence.
This role is perfect for someone who has worked with Ashby All-in-One, has a solid background in talent acquisition, and is passionate about tools, processes, and community building. You’ll collaborate with an exceptional team across marketing, customer success, and sales.
What you’ll do
- Lead AMER Community Events
- Run community events across target AMER markets. Event types might include:
- Customer learning breakfasts
- A mixed ecosystem event for customers and prospects
- Partner cocktail events or roundtables co-hosted with local ecosystem players
- Build and nurture relationships with TA leaders
- Partner with Event Ops on venue selection, invites, and post-event recaps
- Drive improvement and reimagine how we can show up in a very meaningful way for the community
- Run community events across target AMER markets. Event types might include:
- Drive Customer Education
- Become an Expert in Ashby + TA leader needs to curate relevant content
- Design and lead live sessions that help customers activate key Ashby features and keep customers ahead on key TA trends and topics
- Partner with CS and Product Marketing teams on the Ashby Hidden Gems program
- Develop and distribute product tips, dashboards, and templates to increase customer sophistication
- Expand AMER Community and Customer Advocacy
- Help Ashby deepen its brand and trust by showing up consistently and thoughtfully
- Develop onboarding and enablement loops for ACE (Ashby Customer Expert) events
- Partner with GTM teams on prospect and customer onsite visits
- Moderate panels, attend events, and build a presence at industry gatherings
Who you’ll work with
You’ll report directly to me, but work closely with your counterparts in EMEA, Willem and Kayla, who’ve pioneered what community growth looks like at Ashby. Within partnerships, you’ll also work closely with Katie to scale trusted community partner relationships and our Event Ops team on bringing Owned Community experiences, like Ashby Cafe, to life.
About You
We think the ideal person for this role will have experience and skills that look something like this:
- You’ve been an Ashby power user or at least very familiar with Ashby and seen its benefits first-hand—someone who knows the product and Ashby community, champions good recruiting practices, and isn’t afraid to dive into dashboards, workflows, or templates
- You’ve built a reputation inside organizations as the go-to expert on TA process and tooling
- You’re a strong communicator—whether facilitating a breakfast, writing a post-event summary, or helping a customer understand how to build a dashboard
- You love curating and connecting people and ideas. You get energy from hosting, matchmaking, and finding smart formats to share what works
- You’re excited about being on the road ~2x/month and tapping into your existing network (and growing it!) in the TA space
- You’re entrepreneurial and experimental in nature. You’re not looking for rigid playbooks; you want room to try new formats and evolve what ‘great’ looks like. You come prepared with AI tools / automations that help us execute faster while maintaining quality.
- You believe in unreasonable hospitality—the idea that going above and beyond for a customer doesn’t just build goodwill, it builds momentum.
This Role Probably Isn't Right If ...
- You’re not excited about hosting or don’t enjoy the details of curating small, thoughtful gatherings
- You hate writing and have difficulty building a cohesive brief (this is a very important skill at Ashby)
- You don’t enjoy traveling and building new connections while you’re at it
- You’ve never had hands-on TA experience
- You’ve never used Ashby and aren’t familiar with modern TA systems and practices
- You prefer working from a very established playbook and are uncomfortable with ambiguity or iteration
- You’re uncomfortable with moderating discussions or being a speaker
- You only have an ‘events background’. For this role, we need folks with deep knowledge of the TA ecosystem and a proven network in major city hubs like San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Austin, and Chicago
