As a Systems Strategist in the AppleCare Technologies (ACT) Systems Strategy and Solutions Architecture team, you will shape enterprise-wide technology and systems decisions that advance AppleCare’s strategic objectives and business capabilities.
Description
In this role, you will partner closely with IS&T, AppleCare business teams, and the ACT team to solve complex enterprise challenges, identify strategic opportunities, and guide the AppleCare-wide systems roadmap. You will serve as a subject matter expert, directing and designing the overall AppleCare enterprise, capability, and solution landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Evolve technology and systems strategy services across AppleCare Technologies to support business planning and strategic development.
- Partner with ACT Business Engagement and Solutions Architecture practices to continuously improve architecture governance, processes, and service delivery across Product and Program Management teams.
- Define, evolve, and maintain the AppleCare Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Partner deeply with AppleCare business teams to identify and champion emerging and existing technologies that uplift capabilities, streamline end-to-end processes, and enhance customer journeys.
- Maintain comprehensive current- and target-state architecture artifacts within the AppleCare Architecture Repository.
- Maximize the value of existing platforms by ensuring solution designs and business requirements align closely with platform capabilities and strategic priorities.
- Guide strategic blueprints using data and analytics, customer journey mapping, and the AppleCare Business Capability Model (BCM).
- Maintain the AppleCare BCM and develop strategic overlays to inform executive decision-making on technology prioritization and value realization.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT.
- Demonstrated track record in technical solutions and architecture, including at least 3 years in systems specification, design, and operations.
- Practical understanding of modern solution delivery models (Agile, DevOps, Product-led).
- Solid foundation in Business Capability Modeling (BCM) and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., capability building block mapping).
- Hands-on experience or working familiarity with Agentic Workflows, AI, and Machine Learning technologies.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience architecting or delivering technologies within service, sales, and customer support domains.
