Description and Requirements

As part of the Motorola/Lenovo Brazil R&D team you will be responsible for leading the technical activities for the development of complex software systems.

In this role you will work closely with third party software suppliers to develop innovative software.

We're looking for a driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills that has experience technically leading development projects.

Scope of responsibilities:

Take up the technical responsibility for the entire software development.
Accountable for ensuring systems are properly architected, designed, monitored, supported, and maintained.
Identify and mitigate risks, including security, availability, and scalability risks.
Interface with external development teams to drive development activities and solve issues.
Coach and technically lead software engineering groups

Position Requirements:

Practical relevant experience in software development
Experience in software development for Client-Server systems
Strong Leadership skill
Excellent communication skills
Advanced English

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Cloud Computing: Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of Web Fullstack: Java, NodeJS, APIs REST, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Angular;
Fluency in Spanish

Education:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant fields.
