Description and Requirements
Position Summary
The Factory Experience Program Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and scaling world-class factory experience programs that showcase Lenovo's manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and innovation capabilities to customers, partners, executives, and internal stakeholders. The role serves as the primary focal point for customer-facing factory engagements, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience from opportunity identification through visit execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.
This position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Executive Briefing Centers (EBC), Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Site Leadership teams to deliver engaging experiences that strengthen customer relationships, support revenue growth, and highlight Lenovo's manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Own and manage the Factory Experience Program strategy, roadmap, governance, and execution.
- Develop scalable processes, standards, and best practices across manufacturing locations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance visitor engagement and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain program KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
Customer & Executive Engagement
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer, partner, and executive factory visits.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and EBC teams to identify and support strategic opportunities.
- Design customized agendas aligned with customer interests and business objectives.
- Coordinate executive meetings, SME presentations, facility tours, demonstrations, and networking events.
End-to-End Visit Management
- Lead all planning and execution activities for factory experiences.
- Coordinate logistics including scheduling, transportation, meeting facilities, catering, security, visitor access, and accommodations.
- Ensure a world-class visitor experience that reflects Lenovo's brand and operational excellence.
- Conduct or coordinate manufacturing and supply chain tours.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and Product teams to develop engagement content.
- Align stakeholders on visit objectives, deliverables, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate presentation development and demonstrations across multiple organizations.
- Manage escalation and issue resolution before and during customer visits.
Analytics & Reporting
- Capture visitor feedback and satisfaction metrics.
- Analyze trends, engagement effectiveness, and business impact.
- Produce quarterly reports for leadership highlighting program performance and improvement opportunities.
- Track pipeline influence, customer engagement outcomes, and cost management.
Financial Management
- Manage program budgets and visit-related expenses.
- Support pricing, quotations, and cost recovery processes where applicable.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting of event costs.
Marketing & Program Growth
- Increase awareness and adoption of Factory Experience services.
- Develop promotional materials and success stories.
- Identify opportunities to expand program offerings and site participation.
- Benchmark industry best practices to maintain a competitive customer experience.
