We are looking for: Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) - Solution Business
You’ll make an impact by:
- Supplier Quality Management
- Implement and deploy the Business Unit Supplier Quality Management strategy, governance framework, and applicable processes.
- Support sourcing decisions and supplier selection and development activities.
- Ensure supplier qualification processes are conducted in accordance with company standards and risk-based requirements.
- Perform supplier risk assessments together with relevant stakeholders and define appropriate mitigation measures.
- Monitor supplier qualification status and supplier risk profiles throughout the supplier lifecycle.
- Promote preventive supplier quality assurance measures and risk-based decision-making.
- Drive consistent application of supplier quality methods, standards, and tools across the organization.
Supplier Qualification & Audits
- Plan, organize and execute supplier assessments and audits (e.g., VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, EHS).
- Support qualification activities for new suppliers and suppliers with elevated risk exposure.
- Ensure effective follow-up, verification and closure of audit findings and qualification actions.
- Establish, maintain and monitor Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA) where applicable.
- Define and track supplier qualification and improvement measures based on assessment results and identified risks.
- Support qualification decisions by providing supplier quality assessments and recommendations.
Project & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, QMIPs and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support sourcing and project teams in evaluating supplier-related quality and risk aspects.
- Facilitate supplier qualification and supplier risk assessments together with responsible stakeholders and technical experts.
- Support technical qualification activities.
- Provide supplier quality methods, tools and governance expertise during sourcing and project-related decision-making processes.
- Ensure supplier quality requirements, qualification criteria and identified supplier risks are appropriately considered before supplier nomination and ordering decisions.
- Support escalation processes related to supplier quality risks and qualification topics.
Supplier Risk Management & Governance
- Drive structured supplier risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities.
- Maintain transparency regarding supplier qualification status, audit results, identified risks and mitigation actions.
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement activities related to supplier quality management processes.
Sustainability & Continuous Improvement
- Support implementation of sustainability, compliance and responsible sourcing requirements within the supplier base.
- Drive supplier development initiatives based on risk assessments, audit findings and strategic business needs.
- Promote preventive quality methodologies and risk-based thinking across the supplier lifecycle.
- Facilitate lessons learned and best-practice sharing across suppliers and commodities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Supplier Quality Management processes, methods, tools and standards..

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8 years of professional experience in Supplier Quality Management, Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- 3 years’ experience in project-oriented and solution-based business environments.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional organizations.
- Certifications - Formal qualification in Project Management ( e.g. PMP, IPMA, Prince2 or equivalent)
- Certified Process Auditor (e.g., VDA 6.3) or equivalent supplier quality auditing qualification/certification.
- Strong knowledge of supplier qualifications, supplier audits and supplier risk management.
- Experience in supplier assessments, qualification programs.
- Good understanding of supplier lifecycle management, sourcing processes and project business..
- Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis and Risk Management.
- Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Ability to facilitate risk-based decision-making and drive preventive quality approaches.
- Fluent English skills; additional languages are beneficial.
- Willingness to travel internationally if required.
