Supervisor, Access Control (m/f/d) – Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg
Description
The Supervisor, Access Control will supervise, organize, and evaluate the work of the access control operations team. The Supervisor will lead the day-to-day activities of their team and ensure productivity is aligned with standard policies and procedures. As the supervisor, you have experience with document management and process improvement. Additionally, you are to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment positively and professionally.Tesla’s facilities are a complex mix of manufacturing, service, warehouse, and corporate facilities that provide a variety of access control and security-related challenges. Tesla’s operations revolve around the customer experience from design to delivery. This role reports to IT Leadership and will be based out of Berlin, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line management, mentoring, and leadership for the Access Control operations team
- Create and maintain training documentation, procedures, audit data, prepare reports, and propose business process improvements
- Aid in the development and revision of processes, protocols, procedures, and systems
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective staffing and scheduling
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment to deliver world-class consistent, quality, and customer focused security products and services
- Maintain accurate reporting as required by IT leadership including delivering metrics on performance, output, outcomes, and impact
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring technical solution, and support initiatives to strengthen partnerships with all teams
- Maintain positive employee and third-party relations
- Perform other duties and special project functions as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing an operations or access control center on a regional or global platform
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Action orientated, able to follow-up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes
- Strong knowledge of access control security systems and technology
- Access control system certifications (i.e. Gallagher, Lenel) preferred
- Hands-on experience coordinating and running training events in a corporate setting
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem solving skills, and manage projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to effectively develop and monitor a teams’ performance
- Background in customer service, operations centers, or administrative work
