Description
Apple Services is seeking a highly-organized, passionate and experienced Studio Manager to join our Services Employee Engagement team. The Studio Manager will support internal events and programs with preproduction planning and live production execution, engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to bring an event to life, always striving for a best in class and engaging experience for our employees. This role is responsible for supervising external vendors and collaborates closely with internal teams in pre and post production execution as it relates to the Services Comms Studio and our technical production requirements. The Studio Manager is the primary point of contact for all operations related to the Services Comms Studio. They serve as the key liaison between internal leadership, external stakeholders, and vendors, and are accountable for the studio's day-to-day operations, systems, and functionality. Occasionally the Studio Manager will be required to work on technical sound and video production for events in other Apple locations, both domestic and international, as it relates to our business and organization.
Responsibilities
- Studio equipment installed, tested, and operational, including initial workflow documentation and proof of concept shoots.
- Set design proposals, vendor agreements, and studio set construction completed.
- Services Hub presence established, with future development scoped ahead of the upcoming platform upgrade.
- Onboarding and training completed for all supplemental roles, with role-specific guidelines documented.
- Framework for data management and archival established and implemented.
- Serve as the operational lead and on-site director of the studio.
- Lead daily studio operations, scheduling, and production flow.
- Run pilot tests and ensure quality control across production and post-production.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on output and operations.
- Oversee infrastructure buildout, post pipeline, content handling, and CMS planning.
- Build and maintain all workflows for capture, post-production, archiving, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain CMS and asset management systems.
- Oversee and manage supplemental crew, including Editor/Engineer, DP, and freelance support.
- Coordinate with scenic vendors and internal partners.
- Onboard and train supplemental roles with role-specific guidelines.
- Direct talent on set and manage scripts, teleprompter, and talking points.
- Produce operational documentation and training materials for all studio roles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and leadership.
- Responsible for scheduling, overall project management, and final quality assurance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 to 10+ years experience in live events, studios, and production.
- Proven track record in end-to-end studio production, with hands-on experience guiding video shoots, post-production timelines and deliverables.
- Experience leading complex projects and planning initiatives.
- Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Ability to be onsite; this role is an in-person, onsite position.
- Available to work some nights and weekends as needed.
- Up to 30% + travel required; both domestic and international.
