Studio Architect
Description
Looking for a talented, motivated individual to join our team in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate will be a part of the Tesla Design Studio Architecture Team, a global architecture and interior design team that helps shape the architectural and spatial identity of Tesla. The team contributes to a wide range of project types, including the design of specialized workplace environments like Tesla’s Global Headquarters in Austin, the Tesla Diner, and R&D spaces across the country. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience taking projects from concept to completion through design, detailing, and construction administration. Candidates require self-motivation, rigor, and a stellar design sensibility. This role requires collaborative, goal-oriented work; the applicant must be a communicative team player.
Responsibilities
- Architectural design and interior design, including design and detailing.
- Specifying materials, systems, furniture and equipment
- Collaborating with procurement and sourcing teams
- Work with team to take projects from concept to completion
- Discipline coordination
- Construction documents
- Construction administration including RFI and submittal review
Requirements
- Revit – construction documentation
- Adobe suite (photoshop, illustrator)
- Rendering (Enscape preferred)
- Detailing and documentation
- Spatial planning
