At Siemens Advanta, we bridge the real and digital worlds to help complex industries move faster, operate smarter, and grow stronger. Building on the Siemens technology portfolio, we bring together Strategy, Operations, and AI & New Technologies expertise to guide clients through end-to-end transformation, from defining the ambition and operating model to implementing solutions and realizing measurable value.
Our North America team works with Siemens businesses and external clients on high-impact challenges across industry, infrastructure, and energy. For this role, the primary focus is the utilities sector, where clients are modernizing aging grid infrastructure, integrating renewable resources, improving reliability and resilience, strengthening cybersecurity, and building the digital and organizational capabilities required for changing demand. You will work in small, interdisciplinary teams with meaningful client exposure, clear ownership, and access to Siemens' industry, technology, and implementation expertise.
We are looking for a Strategy Consultant to join the Siemens Advanta North America consulting team. The ideal candidate can contribute across our Strategy & Innovation (ST&IN) and Operations Automation & Digitalization (OA&D) offering portfolios; experience in the utilities industry is preferred. As we continue investing in in-person collaboration and a strong office culture, we are excited to connect with candidates based in or relocating to Atlanta, Houston, or New York.
What you’ll be doing:
You will work with Siemens businesses and external clients to solve complex, high-impact challenges from strategy through implementation. As part of interdisciplinary project teams, you will combine rigorous analysis, industry insight, and practical problem-solving to develop recommendations that deliver measurable results.
- Structure ambiguous business problems, develop hypotheses, and define clear approaches for addressing client priorities.
- Conduct market, customer, competitor, financial, operational, and technology analyses to identify actionable insights and value opportunities.
- Develop growth, innovation, and digital strategies, supported by business cases, capability assessments, strategic roadmaps, and implementation priorities.
- Design and improve operating models, organizational structures, governance, processes, automation opportunities, and performance-management approaches.
- Translate strategic recommendations into executable transformation programs, including workplans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.
- Engage client stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and working sessions, and communicate findings through clear, decision-ready presentations.
- Take ownership of project modules and deliverables, coordinating team activities and maintaining high standards for quality, timing, and client communication.
- Use approved generative AI and productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or comparable platforms, to strengthen research, analysis, and deliverable development.
- Contribute to client development, Advanta offerings, thought leadership, recruiting, and the growth of junior colleagues.
