Strategic Partner Manager, Wearables
Description
Meta is building the future of human connection through wearable devices, including smart glasses and augmented reality hardware. The Wearables partnerships team is responsible for cultivating and scaling the ecosystem of strategic partners that power these products. In this role, you will define and lead high-impact partnership strategies that accelerate the adoption of Muse across hardware partners. You will operate at the intersection of product, business development, and emerging technology to shape how people access Muse on Wearables.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key leaders at Wearables Partners and internally, effectively communicating strategic recommendations, influencing outcomes, and providing detailed updates Serve as the primary executive-level relationship owner for a portfolio of high-priority wearables partners, driving alignment on joint roadmaps and mutual business outcomes Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, legal, and finance teams to deliver partnership agreements that unlock new capabilities for AI glasses and Wearables Develop frameworks and playbooks for partner onboarding, performance measurement, and lifecycle management specific to the wearables ecosystem Identify and analyze complex business problems, develop novel solutions, and provide recommendations to leadership Mitigate risks, manage escalations to internal and external executives, and identify opportunities through mapping the partner landscape, data analysis, and gaining a holistic partner perspective Define and execute a multi-year partnership strategy for Meta's wearables ecosystem, identifying and prioritizing partners that expand platform capabilities, distribution reach, or user value
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships or alliance management within consumer hardware, mobile platforms, or adjacent technology ecosystems Experience leading end-to-end partnership post-deal signing, performance measurement, and lifecycle management of a product Experience defining partnership strategy at an organizational level, including prioritization frameworks, partner segmentation, and long-term planning Track record of partnering with Product and Marketing organizations Experience communicating partnership strategy and business outcomes to executive audiences through written proposals, briefings, and structured presentations Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and a track record of growing influence inside and outside of a product organization Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business engagements Experience working on partnerships specifically within AI, AR, VR, or wearable device ecosystems Experience operating in a matrixed organization where partnership outcomes depend on sustained cross-functional influence across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Compensation: $162,000/year to $227,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
