What will you do?

Market/customer engagement, opportunity mgmt. & deal support

  • Representing DI AUT to key regional market stakeholders in Zone Americas, e.g. at trade fairs, conferences and associations, in social media as Technology and Thought Leader Ambassadors
  • Actively driving new technologies and DI AUT offerings into Sales organizations e.g. to Sales Acceleration and/or OEM Sales channels
  • Supporting Zone Americas LCB Sales organization with OEM and Machine Builder industry expertise in the bid process for major new projects
  • Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/ expansion and align closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales
  • Providing (top- and bottom-line) input for new feature business case and analyzing business performance and deriving impactful actions and segment-specific initiatives
  • Owning the business- & masterplan for dedicated industry assignment – focus on our OEM and machine builders’ business out of discrete, process & infrastructure markets!
  • Providing customers with end-to-end solutions ranging from automation and drive technology to digitalization offerings, and actively drive the introduction of new DI AUT products & innovations
  • Contribution to the definition and implementation of a segment-specific marketing and use-case strategy

Sales Enablement

  • Empowering sales teams by providing key tech. insights and sales narratives and having the domain technology expertise of the specific segment – focus on our OEM and Machine Builder market
  • Defining the business and sales strategy for the specific segment and passionately driving its execution in close collaboration with our LCB sales organizations
  • Supporting LCB sales representatives to optimally develop key customers within the industry segments esp. for our OEM and Machine Builder market
  • Orchestrating activities and strategies of international customers in close collaboration with the LCB Sales Acceleration & Channels

Portfolio Expertise

  • Providing technical expertise on portfolio selection and fit, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers
  • Maintaining a strong overview of the international market and competitive landscape. Identifying and interpreting trends as well as market and business developments in the specific industry

Post-Sales support & customer success

  • Ensuring a seamless handover to delivery teams, ensuring smooth service execution and solution delivery e.g., facilitate customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long-term customer retention and growth

Customer & market feedback

  • Providing feedback to portfolio development teams based on market requirements and customer insights and translating those to global PLM- & application development teams
  • Advocating for technology and service adoption at executive levels, supporting long-term business transformation initiatives
  • Rolling-out focus initiatives

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of related experience in sales management & Industry automation (Automation & Drive Systems)
  • Knowledge of SIEMENS DI AUT automation & drives products or competitors corresponding products for the discrete OEM industries
  • Solid technical background and hands-on engineering experience in DI AUT automation & drives portfolio
  • Strong customer relationship and business development capabilities.

[Salary is commensurate with experience, and total compensation ranges between $110,000.00 CAD - $140,000.00 CAD including participation in our Sales Incentive Plan, contingent on achievement of sales targets as defined and updated from time to time by the Company.]
