Staff Technician Sustaining

This role is responsible for ensuring machine reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for Final Test machines to ensure equipment reliability and production continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues related to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
• Support machine setup, qualification, calibration, and process optimization activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze machine downtime to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operation and minimize production interruptions.
• Execute maintenance activities in compliance with safety, quality, and semiconductor manufacturing standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, troubleshooting reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new equipment as required.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience as a Technician in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with testing machines, Final Test equipment, handlers, or tester systems.
• Good understanding of semiconductor testing processes and equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Ability to work in a shift environment and support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
