The Staff Program Manager, Sales Motion and Operations is responsible for Tesla’s end-to-end vehicle sales process across the Americas — including in-store sales strategy, pipeline management, demo drive growth and pre-owned sales enablement. You will define the process that takes a customer from interest to order, while improving order conversion, advisor productivity, and order experience across sales channels.

This role sits on the Americas Sales & Delivery Operations team alongside peers who own sales systems, communications tools, self-serve growth, and field support. You will be responsible for evolving operating standards, partnering with sales systems and IT to build the right tools, and working closely with Leadership & Development to develop sales training content.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sales motion strategy across lead capture, engagement, demo drives, follow-up, and order conversion — including operating standards and sales motion fundamentals needed for in-store operations
  • Own the sales pipeline including stage definitions, contact cadence, conversion metrics, velocity metrics and health metrics that give leadership a clear view of funnel performance
  • Lead pre-owned sales enablement including process, tool and ongoing support needed to sell on-site pre-owned inventory confidently
  • Develop scalable sales pilot programs and assess performance ahead of broader implementation
  • Integrate customer and advisor and customer feedback to improve processes, training, and IT roadmaps
  • Gain alignment across Sales leadership, field operations, L&D, and IT; present data-backed recommendations and ongoing status updates to senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in program management, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field
  • Experience owning end-to-end sales processes or go-to-market operations with in a high-growth or complex industry, ideally in high-volume retail, automotive, or complex B2C environments
  • Experience with pipeline management, funnel diagnostics, and operational KPIs; advanced Excel required; SQL and BI tools preferred
  • Experience using the latest AI tools to streamline workflows and support business decisions
  • Ability to drive cross-functional change without direct authority across field ops, training, and technology partners; experience with change management and field adoption a plus

Expected Compensation

$108,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
