Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality strategy, test planning, and execution across multiple product areas and projects.
- Drive shift-left quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define automation approaches and scalable validation solutions for Android, windows and iOS platforms.
- Provide technical leadership in Android Frameworks, Android platform validation, windows applications, and AOSP-based applications.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted automation and quality engineering practices across programs and teams.
- Conduct feature deep-dives, architecture reviews, technical assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Establish quality metrics, reporting mechanisms, and release readiness processes.
- Solve complex technical and quality engineering challenges while driving timely execution.
- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed engineering, product, and program management teams.
- Mentor engineers and help build technical capability within the organization.
- Contribute to process improvements, engineering best practices, and automation maturity initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, productivity, automation coverage, and customer experience outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience in Software Quality Engineering, Automation Engineering, SDET, or related disciplines.
- Strong programming expertise in Python.
- Strong SQL and database validation experience.
- Deep expertise in Android Frameworks and Android platform architecture.
- Extensive experience in Android and iOS automation development.
- Strong understanding of GMS certification requirements and AOSP architecture.
- Experience building and scaling automation frameworks and validation solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading quality initiatives across multiple projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
- A passion for technology communities, with a track record of knowledge sharing (Tech Talks, Hackathons) and a strong interest in Intellectual Property (IP) creation.
