As part of our continued growth and digital finance transformation, we have recently implemented Workday Financials and are expanding our FinTech support organization. We are seeking a talented Workday Financial Systems Analyst to join our collaborative and high-performing FinTech team.

This is a highly visible role that partners across Finance, Accounting, IT, and Product to drive scalable, compliant, and optimized financial system processes that support our global operations.

Position Summary: The Workday Financial Systems Analyst will serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert for Workday Financials, supporting both implementation enhancements and post-production optimization. 
 
This role will help design, configure, test, and support the full suite of Workday Financial functional areas, including: 
Core Financials (General Ledger) 

Accounting Center 

Tax 

Advanced Accounting (Alternate Ledger Currency, Multicurrency, Revaluation, Alternate Account Sets) 

Financial Reporting 

Business Assets 

Banking & Cash Management 

Accounting Center/Prism 

Security 

This position plays a critical role in ensuring financial data integrity, SOX compliance, automation maturity, and continuous process improvement across our global finance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Product stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday Financials solutions. 

Design, configure, test, and document enhancements across Workday Financial modules. 

Support bi-annual Workday releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and production deployment coordination. 

Serve as a Workday Financials SME, providing functional support and troubleshooting issues submitted via ServiceNow. 

Document root cause analysis and resolutions in accordance with Genesys governance standards. 

Identify and implement process improvements that drive automation, scalability, and operational efficiency. 

Support the maintenance of existing Accounting Center use cases, learn to troubleshoot batch errors and strive to maintain accuracy of resulting journals. 

Assist in configuration and maintenance of Business Processes, Account Posting Rules, Worktags, and Security Roles. 

Support SOX compliance efforts including periodic security audits and documentation controls. 

Collaborate with IT and integration teams on Workday-integrated third-party systems such as tax engines, reconciliation tools, banking systems, and accrual processes. 

Support financial reporting needs and ensure data integrity across ledgers, book codes, currencies, and alternate account sets.

Required Qualifications:

8 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience. 

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls. 

Experience working in Workday Fins ERP support role or implementation role. 

Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting multiple Workday Financial functional areas. 

Experience supporting a SOX-controlled environment. 

Experience working in Jira and incident ticket-driven support model (e.g., ServiceNow). 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Ability to see the big picture and understand impacts on downstream systems or other Workday modules. 

Work performed is accurately, reliably, and clearly documented for others’ review. 

Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities quickly. 

Ability to learn organization model and work with cross-functional teams within IT and business and across different regions (e.g., North America, APAC, EMEA, LATAM) 

Self-motivated and able to work on critical tasks independently and as a member of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working familiarity with Consolidated Reporting, Multicurrency, Alternate Ledger Account Sets, Revaluation, Book Codes, Allocations, and Alternate Ledger Currency. 

Background in Accounting, Finance, Tax preferred. 

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial analysis). 

Experience with Workday EIBs and integration tools. 

Workday security configuration knowledge in a SOX-controlled environment. 

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, accounting, finance, or related fields. 

Working hours- 4:00 PM-1:00 AM
