As a Technician in Micron’s Automation Development team based in Taichung, Taiwan, you will support engineering activities including issue investigations, defense line reviews, and Continuous Improvement Projects(CIP) related to manufacturing tools, materials, and processes. You will also assist in implementing and sustaining automation solutions within process flows that support high-density advanced memory manufacturing.
Responsibilities and Tasks
•Support Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC/Run-to-Run). Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), and Data Intelligence (DI) applications.
•Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-Enabled and data-driven manufacturing solutions.
•Utilize Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI tools to improve operational efficiency, troubleshooting effectiveness, and engineering productivity.
•Assist engineers in implementing Agentic AI and AI Assistant solutions to enhance manufacturing automation and decision-making processes.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate process deviations, analyze manufacturing data, and drive yield and productivity improvements.
Requirements
•Preferred to have more than 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, production operations, automation, or engineering-related fields.
•Conversational English with TOEIC score of 500 or above.
•Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
•Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus.
•Experience using Generative AI, AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabled tools is preferred.
