Sr. Support Application Engineer - EBS

Position Overview

You'll drive customer success and satisfaction by providing expert technical support for Siemens EDA's EBS products. In this role, you'll partner with customers to resolve complex software issues, deliver technical training, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure customers extract maximum value from our solutions. Your expertise will enable critical project implementations and shape the future of our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and resolve EBS software issues for customers while tracking and documenting cases using Siemens EDA processes
• Develop and deliver technical training on new features and product updates to enhance customer productivity
• Create technical content and knowledge base materials to support customer self-service
• Communicate customer technical requirements and issues to the Product Team, ensuring clarity on urgency and business impact
• Drive tool evaluation, technical demonstrations, methodology reviews, and deployment strategies during critical customer project phases
• Build and maintain technical relationships with customers, peers, and engineering teams across Siemens EDA worldwide

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• Technical written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with PCB and digital design tools, layout, simulation, and analysis methodologies

Preferred:

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, or VBScript
• Experience with C language and database systems like Oracle
• Knowledge of SPICE, Signal Integrity, or Power Integrity analysis tools
