The Role:

  • Entegris is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Plant HR Specialist to join our Global Human Resources Team, based in Oseong, Korea. 
  • This critical role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions at our Oseong/Jangan plant, acting as a strategic HR partner to drive talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee relations. 
  • You will play a pivotal role in staffing all positions within the Korea Plant and contributing to regional HR projects and initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Talent Acquisition & Development: 
  • Collaborate closely with plant leadership to address all staffing requirements, from high-volume production roles to specialized technical positions. 
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from strategic sourcing to offer management. 
  • Lead and facilitate comprehensive new hire onboarding and orientation programs, integrating plant-specific safety and operational training.  
  • Actively contributes to developing talent pipelines and succession plans for key plant roles. 
  • Performance & Organizational Effectiveness: 
  • Implement and adapt global HR initiatives, such as performance management and succession planning, to align with plant-specific operational needs. 
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to leaders on performance management, employee coaching, career development, and disciplinary actions.  
  • Support workforce planning to optimize staffing levels and skill distribution across manufacturing operations. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and engagement within the plant environment. 
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: 
  • Address and resolve a broad range of employee relations issues, including grievance handling and conflict resolution, maintaining a fair and harmonious workplace. 
  • Ensure strict adherence to Korean labor laws, industrial safety regulations, and internal company policies within the plant. 
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace concerns, policy violations, and incidents. 
  • Guide and support plant management in cultivating positive labor relations and effective communication. 
  • Compensation & Benefits Support: 
  • Administer compensation programs specific to the plant, including hourly rates, overtime, and shift differentials. 
  • Contribute to local employee welfare and recognition initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company benefits philosophy. 
  • HR Operations & Data Management: 
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all HR data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). 
  • Generate and analyze HR reports, providing data-driven insights to plant leadership for informed decision-making. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing setting, including full-life cycle recruiting. Experience supporting staffing in both large and small organizational structures is valued. 
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of core HR disciplines, including compensation & benefits, organizational development, employee relations, and Korean employment law. Familiarity with chemical, plastics, or semiconductor industries is a significant advantage. 
  • Skills & Abilities: 
  • Fluent business English skills are required for effective communication with global teams and stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving, mediation, and conflict resolution capabilities. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex HR concepts clearly and concisely. 
  • Prior manufacturing line management experience is desirable.
