Position Summary

This position is part of Samsung's QA Lab VD Team and is responsible for supporting Technical Analysis and Communication activities related to external product evaluation organizations, technical media outlets, and Product Review Programs.

With a strong technical foundation in TV and Display products, the candidate will analyze external evaluation results and technical issues, directly verify product and firmware behavior in the QA Lab, and support technical communication between HQ/SEA and external evaluation organizations or reviewers.

This is not a simple PR or Communications role. It requires hands-on product verification, issue reproduction and root cause analysis, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly across internal and external stakeholders.

• Analyze evaluation results, scores, and technical findings from RTINGS and other external evaluation organizations; reproduce and investigate issues in the QA Lab and coordinate follow-up with HQ R&D/PQ teams

• Support RTINGS technical communication and meetings in the US, including agenda preparation, issue tracking, and post-meeting action item management

• Conduct pre-shipment technical verification of media review samples (TV, Monitor, Soundbar) and provide technical support to reviewers during the review process

• Manage review sample preparation, including firmware/SW version checks and product setting verification to ensure accurate and fair evaluation outcomes

• Monitor external evaluation trends, technical communities, and forums (e.g., Reddit, RTINGS) to identify recurring issues and share market intelligence internally

• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA Lab, HQ R&D/PQ, and SEA PR teams; communicate technical findings clearly to Engineering, Management, and PR stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

•3-5 years of experience in a related field

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Display Technology, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience

•Technical understanding of TV, Display, Monitor, Video, or Consumer Electronics products

•Ability to read, understand, and analyze product specifications, test results, measurement data, and firmware/SW behavior

•Strong troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to reproduce technical issues and perform root cause analysis

•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to produce clear and concise technical reports

•Ability to explain complex technical content clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

•Coordination and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and issues simultaneously

•Hands-on capability to set up, test, verify, and troubleshoot actual products in a lab environment

•Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred:

•Experience in TV/Display product testing, quality assurance, validation, engineering, or technical support

•Knowledge of Picture Quality topics including HDR, Color Accuracy, Color Gamut, White Balance, Tone Mapping, Motion handling, and Brightness/Contrast

•Experience analyzing Consumer Electronics issues related to firmware and software

•Familiarity with or direct work experience involving RTINGS or similar external product evaluation and testing organizations

•Experience supporting technical media outlets, product reviewers, or certification/testing organizations

•Technical writing experience and demonstrated ability to communicate engineering findings effectively

•Experience coordinating product samples or managing external evaluation programs

•Korean language proficiency for communication with HQ is a plus
