Sr Quality Engineer

Business Management System (BMS) Leadership

• Act as site focal point and subject matter expert for ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025, and other applicable management system requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the effectiveness of the site Business Management System.
• Ensure continuous certification readiness and compliance to customer, regulatory, accreditation, and corporate requirements.
• Lead BMS governance reviews and drive timely closure of compliance gaps.

Audit Management

• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal audits, external certification audits, accreditation audits, and surveillance audits.
• Develop audit strategies, risk-based audit plans, and site compliance assessment programs.
• Lead audit preparation, execution, response management, and effective closure of findings.
• Serve as primary liaison with certification bodies, accreditation agencies, and external auditors.

Operational Compliance Governance

• Establish, implement, and monitor operational compliance programs covering applicable regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Assess business processes for compliance risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance programs remain effective and aligned with evolving business, regulatory, and customer expectations.
• Provide periodic compliance health reports and recommendations to management.

Organizational Capability Development

• Develop and deploy site-wide training and awareness programs for ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025 auditing, regulatory compliance, operational compliance, and management system fundamentals.
• Coach process owners, managers, auditors, and employees on compliance requirements and good practices.
• Build organizational competency and audit capability across functional teams.

Management Review Leadership

• Lead the annual management review process.
• Consolidate quality, compliance, operational, risk, and improvement metrics.
• Facilitate management review meetings with site leadership.
• Track strategic actions and ensure effective closure.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives resulting from internal audits, external audits, customer feedback, compliance assessments, and management reviews.
• Drive process standardization, digitalization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Promote a culture of continual improvement, proactive risk management, and audit readiness.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Calibration, Product Stewardship, Regulatory Compliance, and Corporate Quality.
• Provide strategic guidance to management on compliance risks, certification strategy, and management system effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems, Compliance Management, Internal/External Audit Leadership, Regulatory Compliance, or Operational Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
• Certified Internal Auditor.
• AS9100 Auditor Certification.
• ISO/IEC 17025 Technical Auditor Qualification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt.
• Experience interfacing with accreditation bodies and certification agencies.
