Sr Program Manager – Promotions, WWGS (Worldwide Grocery Stores)
At Amazon, we are working to be Earth's most customer-centric company. To support this mission, Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical, and innovative Sr. Program Manager to help define and execute promotional planning strategies that accelerate the growth of Amazon's grocery and perishables business, driving customer engagement and conversion while enhancing the value perception of our grocery offering.
The WWGS Promotions team plays a foundational role in driving customer value across Amazon's grocery offering, defining the promotional strategies that directly influence how shoppers discover, engage with, and respond to our offers. We define the promotional strategy that drives customer acquisition, conversion, and retention, own the financial targets that fund those initiatives, and operate a test-and-learn engine that turns insights into action. As the central authority for promotional program accountability, we ensure every promotion and deal construct is planned and executed in coordination with multiple stakeholder teams to deliver a differentiated and competitive shopping experience.
This Sr. Program Manager will own end-to-end promotional planning programs, partnering closely with Marketing, Category, Finance, Product, Supply Chain, and Business Intelligence teams to develop scalable frameworks that improve how we plan, fund, execute, and measure promotions. The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, translates complex challenges into structured program plans, and is energized by the pace of grocery retail. A key component will be partnering with Business Intelligence teams to leverage existing reporting and insights infrastructure, translating data into actionable recommendations for deal effectiveness, customer value improvements, and strategic business decisions.
