Sr Product Manager - PaymentsWhat does a successful Senior Product Manager do at Fiserv?
As a Senior Product Manager at Fiserv focusing on the APAC region, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for delivering scalable, cross-border payment solutions tailored to the needs of multinational merchants operating across the region. Your role involves driving product launches, commercialization, pre-sales consulting, and enabling seamless global commerce for local and international clients.
You will work closely with global product teams, regional sales, marketing, operations, and strategic partners to accelerate market adoption and expand Fiserv's payment capabilities across APAC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients and the way they conduct commerce.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute tailored go-to-market strategies for Fiserv's payment solutions across APAC markets.
- Collaborate with regional sales, marketing, and operations teams to plan and deliver successful product launches that address local, regional, and international payment needs.
- Promote the adoption of multi-currency, cross-border payments, and region-specific local payment solutions for multinational clients in the APAC region.
- Support local sales teams with product knowledge, training, and marketing collateral focused on global payment capabilities suited for APAC markets.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts for smooth onboarding of multinational merchants requiring payment acceptance across borders.
- Support the evaluation, onboarding, and commercialization of Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), including digital wallets, real-time payment schemes, and local payment methods to strengthen Fiserv's payment acceptance offering across APAC.
- Collaborate with payment partners, acquirers, and regional stakeholders to identify market-specific payment preferences and expand local payment coverage for multinational merchants.
- Define regional product requirements and work closely with global product teams to ensure market needs are incorporated into the product roadmap.
- Monitor market response, gather merchant feedback, and refine GTM strategies to better serve multinational clients in APAC.
- Stay informed about regional regulations, emerging payment technologies, and competitive trends affecting international commerce.
- Act as a bridge between global product development and regional markets, translating customer and market needs into effective commercialization and GTM initiatives.
What You Will Need To Have
- 12+ years of experience in product management, payments, solution consulting, implementation, sales engineering, or commercialization roles.
- 10+ years of experience within payments, merchant acquiring, payment processing, payment gateways, digital commerce, or related financial technology industries.
- Deep understanding of cross-border payments, multi-currency processing, authorization optimization, and merchant payment acceptance.
- Experience launching and commercializing payment products across multiple APAC markets.
- Strong consultative and strategic sales support capabilities with the ability to influence stakeholders across commercial, product, and operational teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure, optimize, and refine go-to-market initiatives.
- Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a matrixed and global environment.
What Would Be Great To Have
- Experience with Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), including digital wallets, local payment methods, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), or real-time payment schemes.
- Experience working with multinational merchants and enterprise commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with APAC payment ecosystems, local payment schemes, and regional regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with acquirers, processors, ISVs, payment service providers, or fintech partners.
- Knowledge of payment orchestration, API-based payment solutions, and e-commerce payment architectures
